While the main goals of dentistry are to maintain oral health and prevent or minimize issues, the time comes when we need to address a problem that has arisen. At Blue Heron Dentistry, we’re ready to provide a variety of restorative dentistry solutions depending on your unique situation.
We always look to the underlying causes and consider the entire picture of your health. We provide customized restorative dentistry services to solve the problem at hand. Our dental team is ready to handle a range of dental problems to help restore your oral health.
Types of Restorative Treatments
Restorative dentistry varies greatly by the type of problem, our recommendations and your preferences. Our dentist, Dr. Maze, will thoroughly examine the problem and come up with a treatment plan for you. There may be more than one treatment option for your situation, in which case we would discuss them and aim to come to the best decision together.
At Blue Heron Dentistry, we can help with numerous dental problems, such as chipped or cracked teeth, cavities, tooth loss or gum disease. Our restorative services include fillings, crowns, root canals, removable prosthesis (full or partial dentures), fixed prosthesis (bridges) or dental implants. We’ll discuss the treatment options for your situation when you come in for a visit.
Regardless of the treatment, our goal is always the same, whether we’re filling a cavity or bridging the gap after tooth loss. We’re focused on improving your oral and overall health and giving you a beautiful smile. We hope you think of restorative dentistry as a positive thing that will restore the full function and appearance of your teeth and gums, ultimately improving your health and quality of life.
The First Step of Restorative Dentistry
Before we can move forward with dental treatment, we must gain a full picture of the problem. We start with a comprehensive exam. If you’ve already received a dental diagnosis from our dentist Dr. Maze, you can decide whether to move forward with the recommended treatment or ask us additional questions if you have them. If you’re coming from a different dentist, we can offer a second opinion and help you move forward with treatment.
But if you’re unsure of your dental health, we’ll start with an exam to see whether you have an issue. We recommend a visit if you haven’t been to the dentist in a while or if you’re experiencing symptoms like tooth pain or swollen gums. To make your appointment, call our office at 330.668.1016.
